Sneak Peek: A typical day on the Surf Camp

Our daily surf camp schedule varies with the tides - we usually plan our surf lessons around low tide. This means that if low tide is in the afternoon, that’s when we’ll have our surf lessons, but this can also happen in the evening or in the mornings. All other activities are scheduled around our surf lessons.

8:30 - 10:00

Bom Dia! The day starts with our delicious daily breakfast buffet with homemade specials, freshly baked bread from the local bakery and the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Sit down and wake up easily while enjoying your breakfast. After breakfast, your home-made lunch packages are ready for you to pick up.

10:00 - 11:00

Skate lesson! Everybody that has signed up for a skate lesson, this is your moment: Together with our skate coach you will learn the first basics of skating and maybe even drop in our Mini Ramp if you are ready for it!

12:00 - 13:30

Surf Lesson Adults: Today, the surf lesson for adults starts at 12:00. You meet at the surfboard tent on camp, grab your board and your wetsuit and we all walk together to the beach. If you have children, they can come with you to the beach as well, the nannies will be on the beach to entertain and watch the children while you surf.

14:00 - 15:30

Surf Lesson Kids: After the adult surf lesson it is time to teach the children how to surf. Meanwhile, the adults can relax on the beach for a bit or can go back to camp if they like.

+/- 16:00

Free time on the camp or on the beach. Everybody gets to chill out or have a nice shower. The children can play with each other while you read a good book in the hammock in one of our chill areas. Or you rather spend time at our cozy camp bar The Sandpit, order a nice refreshing drink and mingle with other guests and crew.

17:00 - 18:00

Yoga: Time for your body to get some stretching and relaxing after a long and active day. If you want you can always join our yoga class in the nice forest near the camp while the children are hanging out with our nannies and other kids on camp playing games, drawing, painting etc. Enjoy some time just for yourself!

Dinner Time 😀! While you were enjoying your holiday, our chef Tim has been busy in the kitchen to create a lovely dinner for the whole camp. A nice pasta, falafel wraps or an Indian curry plus a nice dessert for the sweet ones amongst us. After dinner, the shower block close to camp provides you with an opportunity to wash your dishes.

Evening program: On five days per week we have a different evening program. One of the nights, the local reggae/rock band is coming to play at our camp, on others we have a cocktail party, pubquiz, movienight or a nice cozy chill around our campfire in the center of our camp. You can join this, if you like, chill at your tipi or go into town, whatever you like to do in the evenings.
